Is that the question you have been asking yourself lately?  Well, I want you to know you are not the only woman who feels this way.  But, let’s talk about why we are feeling like this.  We have been looking for this certain kind of relationship, but we just cannot seem to find it.  At times, we feel like “this is it!”  “This is the one!” However, the feeling never seems to last.  It appears every relationship we encounter leaves us with an unexplainable emptiness.  Each relationship leaves us feeling as if life has been sucked out of us.  We know there is something missing, but we aren’t quite sure what it is.  Yes, there is something missing, but it doesn’t ever have to be that way for us again.  You see what’s actually missing in our lives needs to be quenched INSIDE (our spirit) before the OUTSIDE (our flesh) can be fulfilled.  As long as we continue to satisfy the desires of our flesh first, we will never attain what our soul truly needs.  If you want proof of this read the story of what one woman was told when she wasn’t looking for a man one day and met Jesus:  Scripture reading John 4:6-29 (Yes, I could have added the scripture for you, but what a wonderful time to stop and read the word.)

When Jesus met the woman at the well, she was thirsty. However, what she thirst for, no man made well could ever fulfill.  There was a desire within her that only Jesus could satisfy.  Jesus began to minister to her in a way she would never forget.  He told her she had five husbands already, and the man she was living with was not her husband.  Now for this woman to have been married five times and working on number six.  You know she was looking for love in all the wrong places.  Jesus told her that He was The Living Water and that if she took a drink of His water, she would thirst no more.  Her search was over!  She left her water pot and went to tell the men about The Man she met who had changed her life.  What Jesus gave her was so good she forgot why she even went to the well.  What He gave her did more than quench her thirst; it filled her up to overflowing.

There is One who loves you as His child and wants you to enjoy a love relationship, but He wants it to be with Him first.  This magnificent man is Jesus.  He is the answer to your search for that ultimate relationship.  He will fill the hole in your heart.  He will help you overcome your loneliness, your faults, and all your failures.  He will give you peace here now and eternal life with Him in Heaven.  He is the Creator of the universe and everything it contains. You won’t be complete inside until you have a personal relationship with the God who created you.  A love relationship with Jesus is the most valuable relationship a woman (or man) can have in their lives.  This relationship happens through prayer, through walking and talking to Him, through sitting at His feet and listening to Him.  It’s all about having that intimate relationship with THE ONE WHO LOVES YOU.  God is eager for us to get started in this love relationship with Him. Therefore, if you have not already done so, please stop looking for a man. Why not allow the man to find you? Why not allow the Lord to lead him to you?  Look at how priceless we are.  Why not reflect it?

Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies.  (Proverbs 31:10)

Ladies, we need to allow Jesus to bring the love we desire into our lives; and until He, does allow Jesus to be all THE MAN you need.  Jesus won’t have you crying yourself to sleep every night; wondering if this is the best I can do.  Jesus won’t have you wondering if you have to go through all this pain in order for love to turn out right.  Why, because His love is unconditional, and Jesus promised us He would never leave us, nor forsake us.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

His Holy Spirit will fill us up with more love than we have ever felt.  It will be more love than we can ever imagine.  Greater love has no man than Jesus, for He laid His life down for his friend.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

He is THE ONLY ONE that can make us feel this way.  Jesus is THE ONLY MAN who can make us feel complete.  I know of no other man that could satisfy all our needs.  Only Jesus can be ALL THE MAN WE NEED.  The love (the man) Jesus sends us will add to our happiness.  His love will not make us make us happy, because we will have found true happiness in the Lord first.  Fall in love with Jesus first; then when the Lord blesses you with the love you desire everything else will fall into place.

Ladies, He’s waiting….  So, why don’t we prepare ourselves to receive?
